Terms, Conditions, and Liability Waiver
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting an invitation, submitting an RSVP, or attending the event, each guest agrees to abide by the following Terms, Conditions, and Waiver of Liability. Attendance is conditional upon full acceptance of these terms.
2. Assumption of Risk
Guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with attendance, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, permanent disability, death, property loss, and theft. Participation is at the guest’s sole risk, and guests accept full responsibility for their actions and safety.
3. “On Behalf Of” for Plus-Ones and Minor Guests
Guests who RSVP or attend on behalf of others, including minors or additional invitees, represent and warrant that they are authorized to accept these Terms and Conditions on their behalf. All guests, including plus-ones and minors, are bound by these Terms.
4. Guest Behavior and Conduct
Guests are expected to maintain respectful and responsible behavior. Disruptive, unlawful, reckless, or unsafe conduct may result in immediate removal from the event at the discretion of the hosts, venue, or church staff.
Guests agree to:
Treat all individuals, property, and staff with courtesy and respect.
Refrain from bringing illegal substances, unauthorized alcohol, or dangerous items.
Supervise any minors accompanying them at all times.
5. Compliance with Venue and Church Rules
Guests agree to comply with all rules, policies, and guidelines of the event venue and church. Violations may result in removal, fines, and personal liability for any resulting penalties or damages.
6. Food, Beverage, and Alcohol Waiver
The hosts accept no liability for:
Allergic reactions
Dietary restriction violations
Foodborne illnesses or food poisoning
Alcohol-related injuries, illnesses, or consequences
Guests consuming alcohol at the event accept full personal responsibility for their consumption and any resulting consequences, including transportation and conduct afterward. The hosts bear no responsibility for any alcohol-related accidents, injuries, or damages occurring during or after the event.
Guests are responsible for managing their dietary needs and alcohol consumption. By attending, guests release the hosts and affiliated parties from all claims relating to food, beverage, or alcohol served at the event.
7. Release of Liability
Guests fully release, waive, and discharge the hosts, organizers, venue, church, vendors, and all affiliated parties from any and all claims of liability, damages, or expenses, including those arising from negligence, related to attendance or participation in the event.
This release extends to all claims of injury, illness, death, property damage, theft, and any resulting losses.
8. Indemnification
Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hosts, venue, church, and affiliated individuals from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of their conduct, actions, or negligence during the event.
9. Small Claims Court
Any disputes arising out of or relating to the event may be resolved by the hosts in Small Claims Court within the appropriate jurisdiction, as permitted by law.
10. Health and Safety
Guests are solely responsible for monitoring their own health conditions, limitations, and medical needs during the event. Hosts assume no duty of care to provide medical treatment, supervision, or emergency care.
11. Photography and Media Release
By attending the event, guests consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. Guests grant the hosts permission to use such media for promotional, archival, or personal purposes without compensation or further notice.
12. “Force Majeure” (Acts of God Protection)
The hosts shall not be liable for failure to perform or delays in performance arising from causes beyond their control, including but not limited to acts of God, weather events, government restrictions, health emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.
13. Binding Agreement
Attendance at the event, participation in any activities, or entry onto the premises constitutes a legally binding acceptance of these Terms, Conditions, and Waiver, whether or not a guest has personally submitted an RSVP or signed an acknowledgment.
If a guest does not agree to these terms, they may not attend the event.
